haii .. this is our second week of practice in this even
semester and the day we used to go at 8 but because of heavy rain I came a bit
late, arrived on campus, I went straight into the kitchen and then oneline,
while waiting for the chef, we read recipe for today, not long after that, chef
dhino came in to direct us and explained all the menus we will prepare today
and also chef dhino divide into 4 groups and share the sections of each group.
menu list to be made is:
- chicken salad hawaian
- shrimp bisque
- beef stew
- bake of potato
- zucchini a'la provencale
- yellow butter cake
- french bread
at 10.00 we started to prepare but there are some that we
have not made because the ingredients ordered chef dhino not yet come, my group
got section dessert so we made french bread and yellow butter cake
materials needed to make french bread:
- water
- yeast
- soft flour
- salt
How to make:
- dissolve yeast / yeast into water
- mix all dry ingredients
- mix the water and the yeast little by little while continuing in the mix until it becomes dough after that add a little salt
- after that proofing approximately about 30 minutes to grease then punching dough with a rolling pin.
- weigh the dough according to the desired weight and then the dough form
- after that rub the dough bread with water and bake approximately for 45 minutes
after all the dough in bake I help another section to
quickly finish and finish cleaning the work area. after all is done, we go
oneline to hear some directions from the chef about tomorrow, after that we
division section for general cleaning. at 17:45 we finished general cleaning
while waiting for our oneline break. at 17:11 we were oneline to listen to the
directions from the seniors after that we prayed and went home.
